Do you see my suffering?
Do you see the pain I'm in?
Do you know anything about me?
What I've done and where I've been.

You see happy smiles and gentle hugs,
while deep inside this broken body,
lies a voice you cannot hear.
She is cold and forgotten,
but yet I hold her dear.

"They are all around, but they are not like you."
"Their laughter is real, smiles man made. "
I don't want her to leave,
to stifle her words.
I don't want to see her wither away,
don't want to see her face.
