I didn't make it into Rising Stars.




Not even the FINALS.



I feel fucking pathetic.



And well I broke down a bit,
I was seriouusly so upset...

I mean, never before have I worked so hard and so seriously on a project...

I spent 3 months writing it ><
Then a month on the scripting...

and

the final 3 weeks before it was due
I gave birth to the comic.

And now here it is before me...

and I'd love to share it with you--

And sadly I wish i knew
why my entry was not chosen..

Like, did I get worse?
I don't believe so.
Maybe it is because...

my work so deviates from the stereotypical "manga"
rip-off, regurgitated anime vomit...

I'm not like that and you guys KNOW IT.

And well

I'm going to CONTINUE to deviate from MANGA.
Fuck manga.

I draw
my own work.
Not something
you see off the shelf.

So fuck this.

I'm creating a new path now.
